About this role
Role Overview
Develop and grow relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers
Prospect for new business and identify project opportunities within your territory
Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
Generate quotations and work with internal teams to develop winning proposals
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve territory sales goals
Represent Wagner at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Collaborate with Customer Service, Estimating, Engineering, and Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of outside sales or business development experience
Experience in architectural products, construction, metal fabrication, or building materials preferred
Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to read construction drawings and understand project specifications is a plus
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a sales territory
Ability to travel up to 25%
