About this role
Role Overview
- Provides direct service support to users for a wide variety of computing devices/peripherals as well as all IT related functions.
- Works autonomously fulfilling end user requests and resolving issues according to service and procedural standards.
- Maintains computer networks between locations and/or care centers.
- Responsible for application testing and documentation of workflow.
- Provides user support and customer service to physicians and staff to resolve software and hardware issues.
- Communicates security information to all levels of the organization.
- Follows standard Help Desk operation procedures; accurately logs all Help Desk contacts using tracking software for job tickets.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or Certificate in computer technology related field is preferred
- 5 years experience in lieu of degree or certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Information Technology
- Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications.
- Adequate familiarity with equipment found in clinics.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft on-line services.
- Knowledge in healthcare systems operations such as EMR.
