Medical Assistant, Clinical Service Specialist

Role Overview

• Welcoming patients and assisting medical staff.
• Delivering safe, compassionate care.
• Rooming clinic patients and updating patient chart.
• Communicating pertinent patient data to providers and nurses.
• Providing administrative support: greeting patients, scheduling, managing phone calls, processing payments.
• Overseeing efficient turnover of exam rooms.
• Collecting and submitting ordered patient lab specimens.
• Assisting Patient Services team with prior authorizations.
• Triaging patient phone calls and messages.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent, required.
• Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.
• CPR/BLS, required prior to start date.
• 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment, required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role, required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred.
