About this role

Optimise and address Barclays 3rd party spend requirements
Collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs
Planning and execution of sourcing events including RFP/ RFXs
Monitoring and guiding of controls and compliance requirements
Development, implementation and operation of policies and procedures for sourcing activities
Identification and delivery of change opportunities to improve effectiveness
Identification of industry trends and development related to sourcing and category management

Proven experience in technology sourcing, including delivery of complex deals across software, cloud, or platform services
Strong capability in managing end‐to‐end sourcing lifecycles, including RFI/RFP design, negotiation, and contracting
Experience managing multiple concurrent sourcing programmes, balancing competing priorities effectively
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
Sound knowledge of commercial constructs and contractual terms, with confidence negotiating outcomes aligned to business and regulatory requirements
