Increase coverage for all the product lines across the region
Develop, monitor and execute project plans, including tasks and schedules
Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation
Regular reporting on ongoing projects and tasks
Research and analysis of competitor, OE, and vehicle data with databases such as TecDoc, ACES/PIES, etc
Identify and run gap analyses to support portfolio extension and identify potential of new product groups
Maintenance and management of product and material master data throughout the product lifecycle (setting up new numbers, track workflow and catalog release process, initiate phase outs and track workflows)
Maintain all the product content information (References, Attributes, Descriptions, Warranty and Kit contents)
Preparation and creation of product-specific information
Identification of quality issues and implementation of corrective measures
Support on demand and inventory assessments as well as on backlog issues from sales/customers, if not sufficiently/correctly feasible through Materials Management
Analyze manufacturing cost and sales price to drive necessary price adjustments and product portfolio measures
Responsible for regional sample procurement (OE / competitor) for technical evaluation and benchmarking purposes
Reading and understanding technical drawings
Close collaboration with data management, master data management and other specialist departments within VLS
Requirements
Bachelors in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive projects
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
Advanced English technical level
