Role Overview

• Facilitate high-level Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) sessions.
• Deliver expert, real-time verbal interpretation during high-stakes calls, including medical emergencies, legal proceedings, and emergency dispatch services.
• Seamlessly utilize complex, industry-specific vocabulary across the medical, legal, financial, and public safety sectors.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality, data privacy, and professional objectivity, adhering to global compliance protocols.
• Identify and resolve subtle cultural barriers on the spot to ensure smooth dialogue.

Requirements

• Native-level or C2 command of both Ukrainian and English, including an extensive grasp of technical jargon, local idioms, and regional dialects.
• You must be an EU Citizen or hold a valid Portuguese Residency Card (Título de Residência).
• Outstanding active listening and short-term memory retention to process, translate, and repeat dense information instantly.
• The psychological strength to remain calm, objective, and deeply professional during intense crisis, trauma, or emergency support calls.
• A private, distraction-free room equipped with a high-speed fiber-optic internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download/upload).
