Manages the process of development, determination of needs, drafting, routing, and editing of Statements of Work (SOWs) for projects procured through competitive and non-competitive procurements to be attached to purchase orders.
Drafts procurement templates.
Provides direct support to program staff to determine the most appropriate method of procurement of goods and services.
Serves as a Contract Manager on Statement of Work (SOWs) for the Bureau.
Works with purchasing staff on revisions required for SOWs.
Manages issued purchase orders with SOWs and approves deliverables and processes invoices from vendors.
Maintains documentation in the appropriate file.
Maintains and manages purchasing tracker for Bureau.
Prepares reports and analyses as directed related to purchases.
Approves budget and invoices for SOWs.
Reviews and analyzes policies, procedures, statutes, and any other directives which affect the purchasing process.
Evaluates potential impact and identifies potential problems.
Recommends appropriate actions.
Makes recommendations to supervisor concerning methodologies and improved methods of purchasing services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Employee in the State Personnel System
Valid Driver's License
Florida Certified Contract Manager preferred
Experience in Contract Management and Purchasing preferred
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
2 or more years of experience writing and editing professional documents preferred
Experience drafting statements of work preferred
Experience in budget or fiscal management preferred.
