Performing Electrical engineering work related to the integration of power generation equipment in direct account customer projects
Manages project design and development for new or existing products
Serves as the technical authority over one key direct account
Supporting project manager and acting as the primary engineering POC for all RRSA design activities
Overseas and provides guidance on design and development of generator set control systems
Verifying and confirming manufacturer's wiring drawings and schematics for compliance with design specifications
Research and analyze requirements from various engineering standards, contracts, and proposal documents
Ensuring that engineering calculations and drawings comply with electrical codes
Preparing and finalizing equipment specifications for major electrical equipment
Selecting effective design concepts for new products or improvement of existing products
Reviewing customer specifications against MTU designs and equipment vendor proposals
Completing work according to standard engineering principles and practices
Responsible for following ERP procedures per company’s quality system
Promoting a compliance culture in area of responsibility

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of electrical engineering experience with design, field service, application, sales or manufacturing engineering; or 9 years of electrical engineering experience in similar fields
Willingness to travel for business trips up to 30%
Excellent applied knowledge about Diesel and Gas reciprocating engines and AC Power Systems
Excellent organization, planning and follow-up skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Ability to read and interpret general procedures and speak fluent English
Entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with multiple cultures and client types
Excellent ability to read and interpret line diagrams, ladder diagrams, and point-to-point diagrams
Strong problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
Excellent computer Skills: AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD electrical, Programming (Programmable Logic Devices), MS Office
Service/or Test experience
Computer Skills: SAP / Windchill
