Serve as the primary commercial contact for General Motors and other OEM customers
Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner across all program phases
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and profitability
Identify new business opportunities and support expansion within key accounts
Act as the central point of contact between the customer and internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality
Manage all commercial aspects of the account including piece price, tooling, and contract negotiations
Drive financial performance improvements across programs
Lead commercial discussions for engineering changes and secure appropriate cost recovery or pricing adjustments
Support new product launches to ensure successful execution, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies and provide recommendations on growth opportunities, partnerships, and process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required
5 to 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or program management within a Tier 1 automotive supplier
Direct experience working with General Motors is strongly preferred
Background in automotive interior systems such as instrument panels, door panels, or consoles is highly desired
Proven experience with OEM purchasing processes, sourcing, and supply chain coordination
Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience in pricing and negotiations
Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as molding, stamping, and assembly
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for executive presentations
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
