About this role
Role Overview
Lead or support the end-to-end delivery of large, integrated laboratory service projects
Contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early solution development through execution and closeout
Support solution design, scope development, and proposal activities
Develop and maintain project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resources)
Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to align expectations and execution
Lead on-site project execution, including vendor coordination and equipment-related activities
Monitor progress, resolve issues in real time, and maintain momentum across workstreams
Deliver CrossLab solutions—including laboratory relocations, consulting, and 3D lab design
Lead meetings, drive progress, maintain documentation, and build strong relationships across customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years in customer-facing field project management
Experience applying project management methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working directly with external customers
Experience with data tools/reporting systems
Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 50%+) and spend sustained time on-site during critical project phases
PMP certification (preferred)
Experience in laboratory environments, instrument service, or equipment maintenance (preferred)
Familiarity with GMP and/or GLP environments (preferred)
Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience (preferred)
Experience managing budgets (quotes, POs, invoicing) (preferred)
Experience with third-party service providers (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma training or certification (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office and tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, SAP, or Maximo (preferred)
