Managing technical input to a portfolio of multi-disciplinary civil engineering projects
Producing project data to support delivery of technical projects
Overseeing commercial operation from pipeline management to final accounts
Staying abreast of industry developments and changes in standards
Maintaining and developing existing teams to continue delivering projects on time and to budget
Engaging clients at regional and national levels and understanding their needs
Preparing fee offers for agreement with clients

BEng/MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers with CEng or IEng qualification (or similar)
Experience of working with key clients such as Transport Scotland, National Highways, Local Authorities, Network Rail, Developers and Contractors
Good understanding and demonstrable experience of relevant project management suites and commercial / financial processes
Commercially astute with excellent communication skills
Awareness of CDM Regulations
Well-developed leadership, communication, negotiating, influencing and inter-personal skills
Ability to research information and find solutions to complex problems
Excellent spoken and written English
