Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes and recommend effective corrective actions.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
Evaluate, assess, and deliver training to force protection personnel on all system configurations.
Inspect, test, and align designated systems to ensure compliance with required specifications.
Utilize schematics, drawings, specifications, and General Purpose Electrical/Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) to diagnose and repair system and equipment faults.
Deliver up‑to‑date training on system operation, maintenance, alignment, and repair.
Support the acquisition of OEM technical data (drawings, test data, etc.) through appropriate channels.
Develop and support installation, maintenance, repair, and operation procedures for communications and electro‑optical equipment.
Evaluate and document field operational capability, reporting results to customers and program leadership.
Perform routine system maintenance and computer system administrative functions, including analysis of system operations.
Perform other technical duties as assigned.
Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7+ years’ experience.
Proficient with standard electronic assembly and testing tools.
Experience testing and validating electromechanical systems using diagnostic equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters, or similar systems.
Strong troubleshooting, repair, and testing skills across a wide range of electronic components and systems.
Experience detecting, isolating, and correcting faults in computer systems and peripheral devices.
Hands‑on experience with systems integration, software, and electromechanical systems.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance or INTERIM Clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
