About this role
Role Overview
Driving sales growth, shipments, market share, profitability, and promotional execution within corporate margin objectives
Partnering with Walmart merchants to develop and execute category and account strategies
Identifying emerging trends and uncovering growth opportunities
Driving continuous business improvement
Managing day-to-day service issues between MGA internal teams and Walmart buying teams
Creating and presenting profitable sales plans for both the retailer and MGA
Developing and implementing contingency plans in a timely manner
Collaborating with Marketing and Product Development to address account objectives and sell the business plan
Managing account opportunities with a check and balance for return on investment
Overseeing all account promotional spending within pre-approved budgets
Reviewing weekly POS to identify items selling at, above, or below plans and action opportunities
Building forecasts based on facts, actual sales, and historical data by working closely with MGA demand planning teams
Requirements
10 years sales management experience within CPG industry, Sales Broker, or at Walmart
Toy industry, import, and seasonal brand experience a plus
Experience building relationships and partnering with Walmart Merchants
A proven record of building sales, share, and profitability at Walmart in a competitive business environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing is required
Comprehensive understanding of Walmart and Sam’s Club omni business models, procedures, and operations
Elevated financial acumen

Excellent strategic and disciplined business planning skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to think on your feet and contingency plan
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales growth
Experience with Retail Link and Scintilla Charter Sam’s Club Madrid experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
