BIM Specialist Coordinator MEP, Building Services Coordinator

Role Overview

• Responsible for creating and managing the BIM coordination model, including levels, grids, coordinates, views, title blocks, legends, families and shared parameters, all based on agreed project-specific standards
• Preparation and production of required construction drawings
• Coordination reporting from concept to construction level (including shaft details, plant/technical rooms, S+D planning) with support from engineers and project managers
• Support documentation and implementation of project-specific coordination strategies
• Lead internal coordination meetings together with internal stakeholders, and participate in external coordination meetings
• Coordinate collaboration with other disciplines and use clash detection software such as Navisworks/Solibri and issue-management tools e.g. ACC, BIMcollab, Dalux
• Review QA checks of BIM models for compliance with internal and external project design standards
• Work with European offices and the global BIM team to promote new regional standards and streamline workflows using computational scripting tools like Dynamo, Python and C#
• Modeling, coordination and annotation of HVAC, sanitary piping systems and electrical systems in Revit (2016–2023)
• Manage the flow and storage of digital project documentation (RVT, IFC, DWG, PDF) using cloud-based CDEs such as BIM 360, ThinkProject and Aconex
