About this role

You'll set the technical bar — through your own code as much as your decisions.
You'll design systems that span multiple components, produce design docs the broader team actually uses, and spot the debt hotspots before they become fires.
You'll design agentic workflows (automated reviews, LLM-assisted QA) and contribute directly to AI-powered features — RAG, function calling, evaluation frameworks.
You'll also help pick the tooling and set the patterns others follow.
Beyond the code, you'll own delivery across workstreams, manage cross-team dependencies, and translate between what engineering can do and what the business needs.
You'll grow the people around you through coaching and hiring, not through process overhead.

A track record of building complex systems from scratch — and being able to talk about the specific decisions you made and why
