In coordination with the Team Leader, the Therapy Specialist in Medical Technical Service independently manages a regional territory. Primary responsibilities include supporting implantations and providing follow-up care for pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
Support sales-responsible staff with market analysis and revenue planning.
Identify and continuously monitor all potential customers within the sales territory.
Document and track the status and development of implantations/procedure volumes.
Perform necessary patient-related service: correct instruction and accompaniment of patients.
Conduct follow-ups using the programmer in outpatient clinics as directed by the responsible physician.
Support, as required by the Technical Department, clinical studies and product trials.
Participate in workshops, conferences and exhibitions.
Monitor inventory levels in customer consignment stock.
Perform software updates at customer sites and program devices, including patient instruction.
Requirements
A completed degree in a scientific field or clinical training is required.
Further training/certification as a Medical Device Advisor according to the German Medical Devices Act (MPG) is advantageous.
General medical-technical and medical knowledge, as well as product-specific medical and medtech expertise for the relevant medical device.
Ability to explain difficult and complex issues in a clear and understandable manner.
Excellent communication skills.
High self-initiative and flexibility, plus a strong willingness to travel.
Good MS Office skills and proficiency in English.
A valid driver’s license recognized in Germany.
