About this role
Role Overview
Lead and contribute to the development of new designs, from individual components to complete systems or products, taking ownership to ensure alignment with project requirements and targets for time, cost, and quality
Support the definition and execution of the Technology Roadmap, contributing with technical expertise to enable future product and platform evolution
Drive module development activities as a project manager, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery according to scope, timing, cost, and performance targets
Act as the technical representative for the module in new product development projects, ensuring alignment of technical solutions and successful implementation from concept through industrialization
Translate consumer and business needs into robust technical specifications, applying structured problem-solving to define effective and innovative solutions
Own and ensure the quality and completeness of project documentation (e.g. ECR, ECN, PPAP, specifications), with accountability for compliance with internal processes and governance
Drive prototyping and validation activities, coordinating laboratory testing and applying advanced quality tools (e.g. FMEA, DFMAA, PSRA, Tolerance Analysis) to ensure design robustness and proactive risk mitigation
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields
Postgraduate studies or specialization is a plus
5+ years of experience in product design, product care, or engineering within a manufacturing environment
Experience working in cross-functional projects, with exposure to product development processes and contribution to project execution and deliverables
Proven experience with CAD tools and engineering development processes
Experience in injection-molded plastic components and electromechanical systems, including integration and validation of supplier solutions
Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset, engaging stakeholders effectively while demonstrating ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills to drive results
Advanced English.
