Define and drive the technical vision for advertising platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements
Lead architectural decisions for cloud-native solutions and guide modernization initiatives
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects by establishing best practices, KPIs, and governance processes
Collaborate with program management to prioritize initiatives and manage dependencies
Partner with Product, Data, and Operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Represent engineering in stakeholder discussions and communicate progress effectively
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency
Champion automation, observability, and security best practices across the engineering organization
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
12+ years in software engineering, including at least 4–5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing engineering teams and large-scale projects
Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and distributed systems
Ability to guide technical decisions rather than hands-on coding
Familiarity with AdTech ecosystems, advertising workflows, and related technologies such as identity resolution, campaign execution, and monetization strategies
Proven track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams, driving performance, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
Experience in defining technical roadmaps, aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives, and managing cross-functional dependencies
Ability to partner effectively with Product, Data, and Operations teams, influencing stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging technologies, champion automation, and implement best practices for scalability, security, and observability.
