Sourcing transportation providers and providing tracking updates
Developing a carrier coverage strategy
Engaging with cross functional teams to build a network of service providers
Tendering, accepting/rejecting loads, creating loads, setting appointments, dispatching, tracking and tracing loads
Conflict resolution and assisting Carrier Sales Rep to find best solutions
Identifying and developing relationships with transportation providers
Manage planning and scheduling of coverage for loads
Ensuring compliance of Federal, State, and Local regulations
Responsible for timely updating of load statuses

H.S. Diploma/GED
Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
3 years or more in Business (Required)
Working knowledge of Transportation Industry, carrier modes & services and basic Supply Chain design and functionality (Advanced)
Knowledge and support of RIL policies and procedures (Advanced)
Demonstrated PC skills in MS Access, Excel, Word. Clear understanding of SMS legacy system (Intermediate)
Understanding of assigned customer, customer product and distribution requirements (Intermediate)
