About this role
Role Overview
Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting to our UAE-based parent company.
Oversee controls, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement.
Navigate complex group reporting matters and lead on the implementation of our new Oracle EPM system.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting packs in line with IFRS and parent company deadlines.
Apply strong technical knowledge to complex group reporting matters and financial policies.
Support the implementation of the new Oracle EPM system and drive continuous automation and enhancements.
Partner closely with the Financial Controller and wider team to meet deadlines.
Liaise with the UAE-based group finance team, responding to queries and providing supporting information.
Support the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
Support and mentor junior members of the finance team.
Requirements
Fully qualified Group Reporting Accountant with post-qualification experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and multi-entity consolidations.
Strong understanding of IFRS/FRS 101.
High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle).
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical, international audiences.
High attention to detail and organized approach to prioritising workloads and managing tight group deadlines.
Naturally inquisitive, proactive, and driven to deliver within a fast-paced, changing environment.
