Talent Development Specialist

Role Overview

• Enhance the competencies of individual employees by conducting training programs that boost employee's workplace performance
• Deliver curriculum and learning materials and manage all phases of training interventions
• Report to a Senior Manager in Talent Development
• Develop or oversee the production of instructional materials, aids and manuals
• Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
• Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
• Deliver training courses and assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
• Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure they reflect any changes

Requirements

• Experience in the insurance domain--ideally with training experience
• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
• Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing delivery of training through vendors
• Demonstrated verbal, written and social media communication skills which support culture and strategy
• Solid knowledge of instructional design models and assessment methods
• Demonstrated experience delivering curricula for all different learning environments (asynchronous and synchronous)
