Patient Care Technician

Role Overview

• Provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment
• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Work 3-4 shifts per week, Monday
• Saturday, rotating opening & closing shifts
• Opening shifts may start as early as 5AM and closing shifts may end as late as 10PM
• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
