About this role
Role Overview
Lead and grow sales efforts for the State of California and Nevada
Drive durable revenue growth and develop sales strategies
Manage a team of sales professionals
Foster strong customer and partner relationships
Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions
Engage specialist teams to enhance the sales process
Build the sales funnel and drive opportunities through to sales completion
Review business plans and forecasting data
Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics
Accountable for sales growth across multiple years for particular products or regions
Coordinate joint planning sessions between partner, virtual, and field teams
Requirements
Bachelors + 12 years of related experience
2+ year of Leadership experience
Tech start up experience
building a team and territory
