Partner Technology Integration & Pre-Sales Lead technical input across new partnership opportunities, supporting sales, project and leadership teams during acquisition and onboarding
Shape pre-sales conversations, assess technical requirements, and evaluate commercial terms from a systems perspective
Act as the lead technical consultant on new partner implementations, ensuring seamless data flows between partner systems, Canvas LMS, and internal SIS
Deliver a scalable technology roadmap aligned to HES growth and market needs
Ensure system architecture supports both pedagogical objectives and an exceptional student experience
Design and maintain a secure, scalable and replicable technology stack to support efficient partner onboarding
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimise digital workflows and conversion pipelines
Coordinate with internal IT, external developers, and vendors to maintain a secure, high-performing infrastructure
Establish and manage service management processes, including incident, problem and change management
Act as the escalation point for partner-facing technical issues, ensuring clear communication and resolution
Ensure all systems, integrations, and data flows are fully compliant with GDPR, Data Protection Act and regulatory frameworks
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage DSARs and data governance practices
Act as a Data Owner for selected systems, ensuring robust access control, retention, and auditability.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technology Consultant, Solutions Architect or Technical Systems Analyst within Higher Education or EdTech
Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems and education technology ecosystems
Expertise in data integration architectures and APIs (REST, SOAP)
Experience leading technical pre-sales discussions and stakeholder engagement at a senior level
A strong understanding of data protection, security frameworks, and compliance (GDPR / DPA)
Experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS) or similar enterprise platforms (CRM experience also considered)
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
