Role Overview
- Develop piping and equipment models, isometrics, and detailed engineering drawings
- Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing Plant 3D project environments
- Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously
- Independently execute complex design assignments with minimal supervision
- Planning, scheduling, and monitoring design tasks to meet project budgets and timelines
- Provide technical guidance and review work completed by other design and drafting personnel
- Work with engineers to create technical drawings from sketches and concepts using Plant 3D and other CAD tools
- Provide guiding directions and ultimate oversight of 3D piping design engagements
- Implement improvements in design methodologies and CAD workflows
- Ensure required deliverables from the technical team meet project requirements on time and within budget
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others
Requirements
- BA/ BS degree and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Specialized CAD certifications (e.g., CAD 2D Basic, CAD 3D Advanced, CAD Custom)
