Provide organizational and practice specific support to attorneys in our highly specialized Immigration Department
Assist the team in a wide range of business immigration matters including preparing various immigration petitions and applications
Prepare responses to sometimes complex requests for evidence
Maintain oversight of individual caseload to ensure timely completion of work
Research law, procedures and keep track of immigration law updates
Manage various administrative duties; maintain case management database, directs client contact-
phone calls, emails, and postal correspondence
Create and maintain reports as needed
Contact USCIS and U.S. consulate/embassies, schedule visa appointment interviews
Assist in client intakes, prepare client mailings and submissions to various immigration offices
Liaise with government agencies (DOL, USCIS, NVC) to troubleshoot issues as necessary

Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal certification or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3-5 years business immigration experience within a law firm
Demonstrated knowledge of complex issues within the Immigration practice area
Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Familiar with immigration case management systems (INSZoom)
Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy
Professional demeanor and ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively at all levels of personnel
