You ensure that our products are marketable worldwide and remain so — taking into account all regulatory and safety-related requirements in collaboration with the service provider Qualisys
You create and maintain a unified product portfolio (global/country-specific) in close coordination with Sales and Purchasing regarding pricing, container/pack size, accessories and packaging
You perform make-or-buy analyses regarding in-house filling versus third-party filling
You are responsible for safety chemistry and maintain and monitor certifications, approvals and regulatory compliance, e.g. DVGW, safety-chemical data, REACH compliance, relevant regulations, etc.
You prepare and maintain product-related documentation and master data in the ERP system, such as technical data sheets (TDS), safety data sheets (SDS), article numbers, product names, etc.
You continuously analyze our portfolio using procurement, sales and profitability indicators (write-offs) and implement changes derived from these analyses
You support application engineering and Sales with safety-chemical product qualifications
You are responsible for the internal implementation of the Chemical Prohibition Ordinance and support the warehouse in complying with all relevant requirements for the storage of hazardous chemicals — including training warehouse staff in the handling of hazardous substances according to the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV)
You work closely with external partners, suppliers and customers on safety-chemical and regulatory matters
You handle customer requirements and quality processes, e.g. PPAP, VDA, Q-processes, and entries in customer portals
You are responsible for product introductions and discontinuations and ensure smooth communication with customers and internally
You lead the rollout of product launches, including product presentations and trainings for Sales, Customer Service, Application Engineering and Marketing
You design product packaging (containers, labels, packaging) together with Marketing and Logistics
You participate in research projects and coordinate alignment between internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
Master's degree in Chemistry, ideally with a focus on Polymer Chemistry
Alternatively: initial professional experience (1–2 years) in technical product management or a comparable field
Proof of competence in handling hazardous substances (desirable)
Interest in technical products, ideally in adhesives or polymer chemistry
Knowledge of safety chemistry, regulatory affairs and quality requirements
Structured, analytical and pragmatic working style
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Confident use of common IT systems and MS Office applications
Very good German and English skills
