Preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial information for a broad portfolio of clients.
Preparing year-end statutory accounts and supporting schedules.
Preparing tax computations and supporting information.
Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
Identifying opportunities to add value and provide wider business advice.
Supporting clients in understanding their financial performance and business objectives.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Acting as a trusted point of contact, delivering excellent client service.
Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Supporting Client Managers with the day-to-day management of client portfolios.
Assisting with onboarding new clients and identifying opportunities for additional services.
Supporting clients with transitions to cloud accounting platforms and digital processes.
Promoting best practice in the use of accounting technology and automation tools.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Acting as a buddy and role model for trainees and less experienced colleagues.
Sharing technical knowledge and helping to develop team capability.
Requirements
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
Strong experience preparing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations
Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong understanding of accounting principles and UK compliance requirements
Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
Experience supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Experience managing client relationships and delivering excellent client service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
