- Write high-quality features with original angles, strong research, and consistent voice.
- Manage and mentor a team of freelance writers, giving constructive feedback.
- Ensure editorial accuracy and audience relevance across all published content.
- Identify trending topics, SEO opportunities, and evergreen ideas to drive traffic and engagement.
- Collaborate with editorial leadership to develop content strategies and long-term editorial plans.
- Uphold MovieWeb’s editorial standards and maintain a high level of journalistic integrity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional editing and writing experience in entertainment.
- Strong understanding of film and TV trends and fandom culture.
- Exceptional editing, fact-checking, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple writers and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with CMS and familiarity with SEO.
