About this role
Role Overview
- Lead the engineering and sustainment of Windows server platforms supporting critical digital services within ASD.
- Design, build and operate core Windows services including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Remote Desktop Services and WSUS.
- Lead complex systems design activity balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Integrate and support management and security software, configurations and MFA solutions across the Windows estate.
- Develop server automation and scripting to streamline build, configuration and operational tasks.
- Take responsibility for systems installation, migration and decommissioning projects.
Requirements
- Current PV security clearance
- Australian citizenship
- Demonstrated senior level experience designing, testing and deploying new versions of the Windows Server operating system in enterprise or high assurance environments
- Deep hands on expertise across Active Directory, DNS, PKI, Remote Desktop Services, WSUS and VMware integration
- Strong working knowledge of security software and hardening associated with Windows operating systems, including MFA integration
- Proven capability at SFIA Level 5 systems design and installation, Level 4 problem management, and Level 3 scripting and software development.
