Providing Luxury Food & Beverage service to guests in a courteous and professional manner in bar and restaurant venues and special events
Anticipating and responding to the needs of team members and guests by ensuring all supplies are readily available before and during service, maintaining a clean, safe and accident-free environment, and immediately responding to needs of all guests and coworkers
Setup, cleaning, and break-down of bar venues and maintaining equipment, supplies, goods and all work areas, reporting any issues to leadership
Partnering with F&B Leadership to ensure adherence to sanitation and cleaning plan throughout all venues and proper preparation for internal and official health and cleanliness inspections
Assisting with inventory processes including requisitions and receiving
Advance planning, coordination and oversight of execution of special events in partnership with Bar Manager
Supports Bar Manager in maintenance and development of mocktails and beverage lists
Audits Bar venues to ensure their preparedness and adherence to standards
Ensuring Compliance with Public Health and all Safety and Labor Regulations
Requirements
Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position
Strong knowledge and experience in Public Health Rules and Regulations related to VSP and HACCP
Previous Head Bartender or Bar Manager experience in a 4-star cruise restaurant environment
Excellent working knowledge of food, beverage (beverages, coffee, tea) and an international cuisine
