About this role
Role Overview
- As a Legal Specialist, you will work directly on live private equity, M&A, and financing transactions for leading global investment firms, asset managers, financial institutions, and corporates.
- You will review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documents in accordance with client-approved playbooks, ensuring alignment with sponsor-side legal and commercial positions.
- Working alongside our global legal team, you will support sophisticated clients on high-value transactions where precision, responsiveness, commercial judgement, and attention to detail are critical.
- You will also leverage our proprietary AI-enabled platform to accelerate document review, identify deviations from client positions, and improve delivery efficiency while maintaining full ownership of legal output.
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT, depending on the time of year)
Requirements
- LLB Degree
- Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documentation.
- Review and negotiate third-party paper.
- Apply client-specific playbooks and negotiation frameworks.
- Identify deviations from agreed positions and implement appropriate fallback language.
- Support live private equity, M&A, and financing transactions.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting defined turnaround times and quality standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across our global legal team to deliver exceptional client service.
- Contribute to process improvement and legal operations initiatives.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
- Experience supporting cross-border transactions.
- Experience working with structured legal playbooks and standardised negotiation frameworks.
- Experience within an Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP), Big Four legal practice, or legal operations environment.
- Exposure legal technology and AI-enabled workflows.
