Responsible for recruiting, leading, and developing sales team in a geographic territory
Ensuring financial goals of the organization are met or exceeded
Directly leads Independent and Direct Sales Reps on the team
Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance
Coach, mentor, and develop an effective and efficient sales team to improve their effectiveness
Manage business development activities for the region including identifying prospective customers
Develop and implement plans to improve market share, positioning, and increase sales and profitability
Requirements
BA in Marketing, Business Management/Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the commercial fenestration industry with solid technical understanding of storefront and curtainwall and window systems and applications or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum 2 years of sales management experience, or related management experience
Minimum 3 years background in architectural promotion and training, preferred
Basic understanding of construction documents, details, sketches and design technical manuals
Prefer CDT accreditation with the Construction Specifications Institute
Valid driver’s license, without restrictions, to meet extensive travel requirements
