Support research finance operations by performing financial analysis, reporting, and day-to-day operational activities related to oncology clinical research programs
Maintain research finance team operational and workload tracker, and drive data review with team to support program operations
Own resolution of assigned financial and research billing queries related to research billing
Analyze research billing inquiries to identify root causes, recurring trends, and opportunities to reduce rework or prevent future issues
Own development, revision, and maintenance of research billing guides, including amendment research billing guides, and related finance documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, Compliance, Revenue Cycle, and practice-facing stakeholders to support compliant research billing processes
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations, or a related field
4+ years of relevant experience in research finance, clinical research operations, healthcare finance, revenue cycle, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Foundational understanding of clinical research operations and regulations
