Support the day-to-day operational activities of the BSI Operations team across U.S. Fixed Income products and settlement platforms.
Perform pre-matching and validation of trades to ensure timely and accurate settlement.
Monitor and follow up on settlement activity across U.S. markets and platforms, resolving issues proactively to minimize settlement risk.
Manage urgent operational inquiries from clients, counterparties, and Front Office teams in a timely and professional manner.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve settlement exceptions and reconciliation breaks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of operational records.
Partner with liquidity and treasury teams to ensure the successful and accurate close of business each day.
Ensure strict adherence to internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and market rules.
Participate in strategic transformation and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and product delivery capabilities.
Contribute to the definition and implementation of future operational models to support business growth and evolving market demands.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in post-trade operations within the U.S. Fixed Income market
Strong technical expertise in: FICC (Fixed Income Clearing Corporation) processing and clearing
Tri-Party Repo operations with BNY Mellon
Corporate bond settlement and operations through DTC
Solid understanding of settlement workflows, repo operations, and tri-party functions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to continuously evolving business and regulatory requirements.
