Serve as the main liaison between the global TED team and the R&D HRBPs & R&D LT.
Design and execute a localization strategy that connects global HR cyclical programs to R&D’s strategic goals, striking the right balance between standardized global offerings and bespoke R&D business needs.
Build robust VP/SVP pipelines and guide targeted development to accelerate the readiness of key talent across the organization.
Architect and deliver on a R&D talent development approach in partnership with business leaders and HRBPs, leveraging tools like calibration and succession, to deliver outcomes.
Ensure the regular and effective assessment of employee skills and performance across R&D, enabling leadership to efficiently reward, promote, develop, and manage their teams.
Design and maintain a functional talent and engagement scorecard to track adoption, outcomes, and continuous improvement of talent programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications in HR/OD preferred.
Minimum 10+ years as an HRBP, talent management, or talent development (preferably in a global, matrixed environment).
Prior experience partnering with Engineering, Product, or R&D organizations in a fast-paced, global tech company.
Deep understanding of cyclical HR processes (performance management, compensation, talent reviews/calibrations) with demonstrated ability to translate and adapt global corporate programs to meet specific business unit needs.
Proven track record of working directly with senior leadership (Sr. Director, VP+) to design and execute leadership development, succession planning, and executive readiness programs.
Excellent consultative skills with the ability to influence without direct authority, push back constructively, and act as a trusted coach to senior leaders and HR Business Partners.
Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills that engage diverse audiences and drive clarity in complex environments.
