About this role
Role Overview
Lead the production of finance and accounting processes aligned with GAAP and healthcare industry standards
Forecast and manage cash flow to support growth and day-to-day operational needs
Report financial and associated matters to the board with insight and suggestion
Manage treasury operations and maintain strong relationships with banking, lending, and vendor partners
Generate reporting tools and dashboards as needed that enable informed decision-making across the organization
Engage with the revenue cycle management team for accounts receivable and other collections trends
Build trust and credibility across the organization through strong financial leadership and business partnership, including with our doctors and their compensation reports
Oversee payroll processes and partner with HR on the financial components of workforce planning and administration
Support the negotiation, organization, and monitoring of key contractual agreements
Support mergers and acquisitions through financial due diligence, add-on modeling, and post-close integration activities
Requirements
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
CPA designation or deep expertise in GAAP-based accounting strongly preferred
Experience leading finance in a similarly sized, high-growth, private equity-backed physician practice management or healthcare services organization
A strong track record of assessing challenges, issuing data-based recommendations, and successfully overseeing execution of change when needed
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and the financial drivers of a provider-based organization
Proven strength in cross-functional collaboration and people management
