Provide proactive, business-oriented legal support across an international scope, helping the business move forward while identifying and mitigating legal risk;
Lead end-to-end contracting for complex commercial arrangements, including MSAs, SaaS/PS agreements, partner/reseller agreements, DPAs, and SOWs;
Partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Product, Finance, HR, and Operations to deliver clear, pragmatic legal advice aligned with business priorities;
Advise independently on a broad range of matters, including commercial, privacy, intellectual property, consumer, and employment topics, escalating material risks where appropriate;
Draft, review, and improve standard terms, templates, policies, and playbooks to support consistency, efficiency, and scalable decision-making;
Conduct targeted legal research and translate multi-jurisdictional legal questions into practical guidance for stakeholders;
Support product and compliance initiatives across different European jurisdictions;
Represent the company in courts and before administrative bodies and institutions when required, coordinating with external counsel where needed.
Requirements
7–10 years of legal experience, with strong exposure to commercial legal work preferably in e-commerce, IT, TMT, online marketing, or related spheres;
Qualification: Qualified lawyer in European relevant jurisdiction
previous experience working with Romanian clients will be considered an advantage;
Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements from drafting through execution;
Strong legal analysis and writing skills, with the ability to turn complex, multi-jurisdictional issues into clear, actionable advice;
Solid knowledge of relevant legal areas, including commercial, consumer, GDPR/privacy, and employment fundamentals;
Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to balancing legal risk, speed, and business impact;
Fluency in written and spoken English and Romanian;
Familiarity with the responsible use of AI tools in legal workflows and day-to-day operations;
A proactive, accountable, and collaborative working style, with the confidence to work independently and the judgment to escalate when needed.
