About this role
Role Overview
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the sourcing strategy for Husqvarna Construction Division (HCD)
- Drive all sourcing and procurement activities for the local site (Olathe)
- Lead and manage the Olathe procurement and SQA team
- Ensure procurement compliance and sustainability, coordinating operational sourcing
- Secure cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability aspects from suppliers
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing operations/logistics department for success
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably on a global level
- Solid knowledge of AS400, MRP processes and basic inventory principles, SAP, and Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering preferred, not required
- Experience in R&D, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing or relevant business experience preferably in a manufacturing environment required
