Lead the execution of construction and remodel projects within the supermarket sector
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of supermarket construction projects
Manage the installation and commissioning of supermarket refrigeration systems
Supervise the installation of HVAC systems and advanced building control systems
Develop and manage capital expenditure plans
Ensure the proper implementation and ongoing maintenance of supermarket facilities systems
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring strict control over costs and expenses
Implement strategies for cost management and financial efficiency
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Identify and mitigate risks associated with refrigeration, HVAC, and other integrated systems
Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards
Oversee the quality assurance process for all systems
Maintain detailed documentation, including CapEx plans and project progress reports
Requirements
5+ years of experience in project management within the construction or engineering sectors
Significant experience in supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with the installation of supermarket RHVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and control systems (i.e. Danfoss, Emerson, etc.) including CO2, glycol and transcritical
Strong understanding of natural refrigerants and energy-efficient technologies in the supermarket sector
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, CMiC) and cost-tracking tools
PMP or relevant project management certification is preferred
