Partner with senior team members across practice lines to lead live M&A transaction, capital raise, recapitalization, restructuring and special situations engagement execution
Manage the preparation and review of complex financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials
Oversee the development of client deliverables including teasers, confidential information presentations, management presentations, process letters and board materials
Evaluate strategic alternatives and capital structure solutions for companies facing operational or financial challenges
Coordinate due diligence processes, data room management and transaction timelines
Work directly with U.S.-based bankers to drive day-to-day transaction execution and ensure timely client work product delivery
Support interactions with clients, private equity sponsors, lenders, investors, legal counsel and other transaction participants
Coordinate with lenders, investors, legal advisors and other stakeholders throughout restructuring and special situations processes
Manage and mentor Associates, providing technical guidance, quality control and professional development support
Support the adoption of AI tools and automation capabilities across the IB team, partnering with the Innovation and AI Solutions group to modernize investment banking processes and drive efficiencies
Support business development initiatives through research, pitch preparation, market analysis and relationship maintenance with existing clients
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program required
Willing to relocate to or be primarily present in Gurgaon or Mumbai
Six plus years of experience at a top-tier investment bank serving U.S.-based clients and deal teams
Strong financial modeling skills and deep understanding of corporate finance and valuation methodologies including DCF, LBO, merger modeling, trading and transaction comparables
Experience managing transaction processes and coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously
Experience reviewing and providing quality control over financial analyses and client deliverables
Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skills
Proven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teams
High attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindset
Track record of success in high-pressure, client-facing environments
