About this role
Role Overview
- Provide on-site support to end users for desktop computing (microcomputing).
- Respond to and resolve incident tickets and service requests related to desktop computing.
- Assist users with technology-related questions and IT service requests.
- Perform Service Configuration and Asset Management activities (CMDB).
- Register and update Configuration Items.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for assets and services.
- Generate reports on Configuration Items.
- Execute and monitor emergency, normal, and standard changes related to IT assets.
- Participate in Change Management processes.
Requirements
- Completed or pursuing a university degree in:
- Logistics;
- Business Administration;
- Accounting;
- Economics;
- Engineering;
- Computer Science;
- Information Technology;
- Statistics;
- Mathematics;
- Or another degree with an MBA or postgraduate qualification in Administration or Management.
- Knowledge of technical support and end-user assistance for desktop computing.
- Knowledge of Configuration and Service Asset Management (CMDB).
- Knowledge of IT Change Management processes.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
