Lead systems analysis efforts at a programme and project level.
Conduct business and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and impact assessments to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly defined and met.
Support and perform system and business capability impact assessments, focusing on operational impacts, system dependencies, and integration points.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Define system functionality, usability, reliability, performance, support, and other non-functional requirements, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective system solutions that meet business requirements and align with the existing technical landscape.
Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, project and programme teams, engineering teams, and architects to deliver sustainable and scalable technology solutions.
Lead cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities for technology-driven improvements across the business.
Facilitate resolution of change requirements during development and testing phases.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and system issues, applying structured problem-solving approaches.
Diagnose complex issues reported by end users, identify root causes (system or process), and recommend sustainable remediation solutions.
Introduce continuous process improvements and document system processes and integrations using standard modelling notations such as UML and BPMN.
Requirements
A relevant IT degree such as BSc Computer Science, Information Systems, BCom Informatics, or equivalent.
Diploma in Business Analysis (advantageous).
TOGAF certification (advantageous).
5+ years’ experience as a Solution Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within the financial services sector.
5+ years’ industry experience working in complex enterprise technology environments.
Strong experience in business and systems analysis across integrated and interdependent systems.
Proven experience within financial services, including banking, insurance, investments, or fintech.
Strong understanding of financial products, business processes, and regulatory environments.
Experience contributing to or supporting digital transformation initiatives within the financial sector.
Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud environments (advantageous).
