Role Overview
- Support US-based clients in tax preparation
- Prepare individual (Form 1040) and business returns (Forms 1120 and 1065)
- Handle workpapers, trial balances, and book-to-tax adjustments
- Address short-term and long-term rental activities including Airbnb K-1s
- Manage multi-state and SALT filings, including apportionment
- Collaborate with clients across various sectors like real estate and technology
- Utilize UltraTax CS and QuickBooks Online for tax preparation
Requirements
- At least 4 years of direct tax preparation experience
- 300+ individual (Form 1040) returns prepared
- 150+ business returns (Forms 1120 and 1065) prepared
- Individual and business tax preparation (1040, 1120, 1065)
- Workpapers, trial balances, and book-to-tax adjustments
- Short-term and long-term rental activities, including Airbnb K-1s and proper flow-through treatment
- Multi-state and SALT filings, including apportionment
- Exposure to clients across real estate, retail, technology, professional services, restaurants, and hospitality
- Proficiency in UltraTax CS and QuickBooks Online (QBO)
