Analyze the technical requirements provided by prospects, customers, and our Sales team, and evaluate how well they fit Ampowr's BESS and EMS solutions.
Act as the technical bridge between Sales and clients, translating customer needs into clear solution proposals and explaining our offering in terms that each side understands.
Actively be part of building project budgets and collaborating with other departments.
Create tailored quotations for BESS + EMS projects based on Ampowr's standard configurations and proposal templates, ensuring scope, sizing, and pricing are accurate.
Build supporting business cases for proposed solutions (e.g., ROI, payback, savings, or revenue-stacking arguments) to help clients understand the commercial value alongside the technical fit.
Collaborate with our solution engineering team to assess the technical feasibility, capabilities, and limitations of each proposed solution before it goes to the customer.
Keep an eye on the energy storage market, applicable use cases, and competitor offerings so proposals stay relevant and competitively positioned.
Maintain and improve quotation and proposal documentation, identifying opportunities to standardize and optimize the proposal development workflow.
Support the Sales team throughout the deal cycle, joining technical calls, answering follow-up questions, and refining proposals as requirements evolve.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in a technical or technical-commercial role, ideally within the energy sector with exposure to energy storage or related technologies (a strong background you can build on counts too).
Academic or practical understanding of electrical systems, battery storage technologies, and renewable energy integration, or a clear willingness and ability to learn these quickly.
Affinity with energy market and ambition to contribute to the energy transition in Europe.
Experience in quotation and proposal development, and solution design, plus an interest in the commercial side (business cases, ROI, market positioning).
Full proficiency in English and Dutch languages.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality quotations and proposals that meet client expectations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and juggle multiple priorities effectively.
