Lead and drive capital formation efforts targeting insurance company investors (life, P&C, reinsurers) across Asia Pacific (ex-Australia), with a focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China markets
Support the firm's Chairman of Asia and Managing Director of Greater China to maintain and expand AUM relationships with existing institutional investors in Southeast Asia and Greater China region
Initiate, lead and organize client events including but not limited to presentations, roundtables and roadshows for maintaining and expansion of institutional LP base
Work collaboratively with Partners Group internal teams to gather critical data and facilitate timely responses to client requests at all working levels
Pro-active investment sourcing from clients, prospects, GPs and other industry contacts
Be involved in client onboarding, including CDD, KYC and continued client servicing
Support senior members of the team with presentations, product updates, meeting preparations, and other ad hoc tasks
Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory developments, and industry trends affecting insurance company allocations to private markets across key jurisdictions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or actuarial qualifications) a plus
5–10 years of relevant experience, with a meaningful portion spent in insurance investment management, insurance asset allocation, or fundraising/coverage of insurance investors
Deep understanding of how insurance companies invest in private markets, including familiarity with ALM, regulatory capital regimes, and portfolio construction within general accounts
Established relationships with insurance investment professionals in Asia, particularly in Greater China and/or Southeast Asia, are highly valued
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Mandarin
Native Mandarin fluency is a strong plus to work with Greater China stakeholders
Proven ability to manage complex institutional relationships and fundraising processes
