The Electrical Engineer is responsible for architecting, designing and commissioning Test Stands for testing Aircraft Components per customer requirements and industry standards.
Review technical documents, including the customer statement of work and Unit Under Test (UUT) test procedures.
Establish equipment performance and tolerance criteria.
Design simple to moderately complex metering and control solutions including signal conditioning, communication, power distribution, pump/motor control, etc.
Support existing customers with troubleshooting instructions and repair/replacement guidance to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar.
Minimum five (5) years of design and integration experience.
Proven ability to integrate hardware and software into a functional and reliable automated system.
Experience with Stands testing Aircraft Components is highly desirable.
Green Card or US Citizenship is required.
Ability to pass additional security screening is required for supporting US military programs including military base, airframe manufacturer, and component manufacturer site visits.
