Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Finance and Product teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with healthcare laws.
Contribute to legal strategy and management of any pending subpoenas, litigation and investigations.
Provide leadership in responding to regulatory inquiries, audits and investigations.
Requirements
At least ten (10) years of relevant legal experience as a practicing attorney with at least five (5) years of experience working at a law firm, corporate legal department or similar organization;
Significant experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial agreements;
High volume commercial transactions experience with a sales-driven, software or technology company is a plus;
Experience supporting healthcare provider organizations such as hospitals, health systems, physician groups, ambulatory practices and payers is preferred;
Ability to identify and assess legal, operational, and business risks while delivering practical, solution-oriented guidance to business partners;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex legal concepts and risks to business and executive stakeholders;
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple deals, agreements, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Strong business judgment, with the ability to think tactically and strategically and provide practical advice by balancing business needs with legal risks.
