About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee day to day operations of assigned properties
- Market and lease apartments
- Drive cost effectiveness and manage budgets
- Address and manage resident concerns
- Manage property staff and ensure compliance regulations are met
- Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours
- Resolve resident inquiries and work orders promptly
- Conduct initial lease process and annual re-certification
- Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly
- Supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff
- Organize community activities
- Available for after-hours emergencies
- Travel for training and conferences as required
- Conduct unit inspections and maintain property standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC, or Section 8
- Solid understanding of Fair Housing
- Skilled in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance
