This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.

Responsible for leading multiple geographically dispersed teams of 4-12 Tier II Network Engineers accountable for the operations and maintenance of a complex and robust Intelligence Community communications network.
Responsible for the training, mentoring, development, and accountability of all Site Leads and Tier II personnel within region of responsibility.
Responsible for oversight of personnel and material resources allocated to sites within region to ensure tasks, projects, and services met or exceed contract SLO/SLA’s in compliance with the contract SOW and QASP.
Coordinates with Operations and other Program management staff to drive network operations and maintenance activities as well as execute service delivery, recapitalizations, and service enhancement projects.
Responsible for the oversight of team efficiency and effectiveness by developing and implementing local quality control processes to inspect, measure, and implement solutions to drive team performance.
Serves as the technical advisor and Program representative at Site meetings, Program meetings, and Technical Exchanges ensuring programmatic equities are accounted for while balancing the needs of the site and customer.
Conducts regular engagements with Site government and SETA representatives to sustain clear channels of communication and serve as the focal point for initial issue escalation and resolution.
Collaborates with managers from all facets of the Program to develop and implement solutions to drive process improvement, efficiency, and continual service improvement.
Ensures all products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards, and that Program standards, processes, and procedures are followed.
Serves as the Hiring Manager and management authority for all administrative actions within region of responsibility to include but not limited to hiring actions, employment terminations, time keeping, and evaluations.
Occasional travel required up to 10%.
Requirements
Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
Must have experience leading a technical organization of more than 15 FTE’s and teams who were geographically dispersed.
Experienced in trouble shooting and developing solutions to network issues that prevent the implementation, operation, and maintenance of communications network physical and logical systems.
Experienced in Layer 1 and 2 networking concepts and basic routing fundamentals.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) products.
Working knowledge of Layer 3 protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP).
Knowledge of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model.
